Earlier, the AQI data was visible on the navigation platform Google Maps after a while, but now users will be able to see the live AQI reading of the city on Google Maps. Users can check the air condition in their city before going out, working out or going for a walk. Google Maps has included a color-coded AQI scale on its platform to help users better understand the air quality in their city. These figures will be updated every hour and will be available on both the app and desktop. The AQI scale will run from 0 to 500. Here, the lower your city’s AQI number on the scale, the cleaner the air in your city.
With the help of these colors appearing on the scale on Google Maps, users can easily understand the AQI of their city and whether it is safe to go out in such conditions.
