SS Rajamouli Controversy: Recently, the first glimpse of filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’ has been revealed, which is being discussed everywhere. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli gave a statement regarding Lord Hanuman in an event organized at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, after which there was an uproar. The entire star cast of his upcoming film Varanasi was present during this event. During this event, Rajamouli became emotional while talking about his film, but one of his statements created a stir.
During the event, when the first glimpse of the film was being shown, a technical glitch occurred. During this time some technical issues were coming up again and again, for which Rajamouli expressed regret. After this, while addressing the public, he told how his father and wife believe in Lord Hanuman. But they do not believe in God. He said- ‘I do not believe in God. My father told me that Lord Hanuman will guide me. But as soon as I saw this technical glitch, I got angry. Is Hanuman ji helping me in this way?
SS Rajamouli further said- ‘My wife is a devotee of Lord Hanuman. She talks to him like a friend. Sometimes I get angry at him too. After this, once again Rajamouli tried to play the first glimpse of Varanasi. He said- ‘Of course we want to see the trailer again. I am also waiting for it. Papa, if your Hanuman saves me once. Or let’s see if my wife’s Hanuman helps me. When my father talked about Hanuman and advised to rely on his blessings for success, I became very angry.
After this statement of SS Rajamouli regarding Lord Hanuman came out, there was anger among the users on social media. Users started trolling him. One user wrote- ‘Rajamouli’s comment about Hanuman is disappointing. He may be an atheist. But it is not right to make such comments about God. While one user wrote – ‘He has not given the credit of success to God, but when he failed even a little, he immediately held God responsible.’ Apart from this, many users have also demanded an apology from Rajamouli.
