Princess Anne is not only one of the hardest-working members of the Royal Family, but she is probably one of the most respected, too. As the King's sister, the Princess Royal has always stepped up to the job, and often carries out the most royal engagements every year.

This has given her great wisdom and awareness of exactly what being a royal entails. This experience is likely to help Anne, 75, form her judgement of people, including Meghan Markle.

It is believed Anne had hesitations about Meghan when she married Prince Harry in 2018, with an expert claiming that the stoic royal could see "straight through" her.

This has been claimed by TV psychic Debbie Davies, who told the Daily Star: "Princess Anne is fabulous, she just gives everything that she thinks away on her face.

"She doesn't need to say anything, you can see it in her eyes. You take one look at her and you can see what she's thinking, she's totally transparent.

"Princess Anne is just like her dad was, Prince Philip could see straight through Meghan Markle.

"He could see her for what she is and so could I, on their wedding day I just sat there shaking my head. I was stood there saying 'This is a complete and utter disaster waiting to happen'."

While the 2018 Windsor wedding was a big success, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal life was less so, with Meghan being a working royal for less than two years before throwing in the towel.

Both Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, quit royal life in 2020, moving across the pond to Montecito, California, instead.

Princess Anne has never directly commented on this matter and instead typically stays out of family drama.
