The online registration process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) by the Indian Air Force (IAF) began on November 17th. Candidates aspiring to a government job in the Indian Air Force can register for the AFCAT 2026 exam. This recruitment process will select 340 candidates. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, afcat.edcil.co.in, until December 14, 2025.

Age Limit
Candidates wishing to apply for the Flying Branch must be at least 20 years old and at most 24 years old. Candidates wishing to apply for Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) must be at least 20 years old and at most 26 years old.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Mathematics and Physics. Additionally, candidates must have completed a BE or B.Tech with 60 percent marks.

Salary:
Upon selection, the selected candidate will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 during training. Furthermore, after the completion of the training period, candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500.
