The right way to make turmeric milk

Material

1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 pinch black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ghee
Honey or jaggery as per taste (add when the milk cools slightly)

Method

Heat milk in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric in it. For absorption of turmeric, add a pinch of black pepper. If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon ghee – it makes the properties of turmeric more effective. Let the milk boil for 2–3 minutes. Turn off the gas and when the milk becomes slightly warm, add honey/jaggery.

When to drink?

  1. 30 minutes before sleeping at night.
  2. Do not drink on an empty stomach.
  3. Once a day is enough.
