Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi for the country's farmers. Last Wednesday, the PM released the 21st installment of this scheme from Coimbatore. Under this scheme, the government has released over ₹18,000 crore to support 9 crore eligible farmers in their farming. If the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi funds haven't been credited to your account, there may be several reasons. Let us explain these reasons and also explore how to fix them.
This scheme provides ₹6,000 annually to every eligible farmer family. This money is deposited directly into the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account. Three installments of ₹2,000 each are received annually. The scheme was launched on February 24, 2019. Recently, the Prime Minister released the 20th installment on August 2. To date, the government has disbursed a total of over ₹3.70 lakh crore to over 11 crore farmer families. Although all eligible individuals receive money under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, some basic errors can cause payments to be delayed.
Why haven't you received the money?
If the 21st installment of PM Kisan hasn't been credited to your account, it's possible you haven't met all the parameters correctly. For example, if your PM-KISAN installment hasn't yet been deposited into your bank account, the most common reason could be incomplete e-KYC or a discrepancy between your Aadhaar and bank account information. Sometimes, even minor errors in name, date of birth, bank IFSC code, or account number can cause installments to be delayed. Therefore, all farmers are requested to link their bank accounts to Aadhaar and ensure all information provided during registration is completely correct.
