Lava Agni 4 launched in India : Indian smartphone company Lava has launched its new mid-range phone, the Lava Agni 4. The phone replaces Lava Agni 3 which was launched in October 2024. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz flat AMOLED display in an aluminum alloy frame. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone also has a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
Lava Agni 4 is priced at ₹22,999 in India. A single variant of which is available with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. However, the company says that this is an introductory price, which includes debit/credit card offers. The phone comes in two color options – Phantom Black and Lunar Mist. The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon on November 25 from 12 PM.
It features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 2,400 nits local peak brightness and 446 ppi pixel density. In terms of software, this smartphone runs on stock Android 15. The company promises three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. Its design features an aluminum alloy frame and an AG matte glass back. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone also has an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating.
It has MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also features a VC liquid cooling system with an area of 4,300 sq mm.
In terms of camera support, it has a 50 MP primary (f/1.88, OIS), 8 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP (EIS) front camera. Both the front and back cameras can record 4K 60 fps video. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Type-C, IR blaster, dual stereo speakers and microphone.
