Terrorist Dr. Muzammil has confessed before the investigating agency that he had planned blasts in Delhi and many cities in the year 2023. They had been arranging explosives, remotes and other devices for the blast for two years. Muzammil was responsible for purchasing ammonium nitrate and urea. Muzammil had purchased 26 quintals of NPK fertilizer from Gurugram and Nuh. It was the responsibility of converting this fertilizer into explosives of Dr. Omar Mohammad. Umar Mohammad was given the responsibility of arranging chemicals, remote and devices for the explosion.

Self funding for Blast, collected Rs 26 lakh

Terrorist Dr. Muzammil told that the responsibility of making bombs for the blasts was divided among everyone. Everyone was busy collecting bomb materials at their own level. The terrorist had purchased NPK fertilizer for three lakh rupees to make explosives. He also said that self-funding was done for the blast. Dr. Muzammil had given Rs 5 lakh. Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather gave Rs 8 lakh, Dr. Muzaffar Ahmed Rather gave Rs 6 lakh, Dr. Omar gave Rs 2 lakh and Dr. Shahina Shahid gave Rs 5 lakh. A total of Rs 26 lakh was deposited in cash and given to Dr. Umar.

‘Mastermind’ Maulvi in ​​custody

The NIA took three doctors and a cleric into custody on Thursday. Investigating officials said that these people were arrested in connection with the car blast that took place near the Red Fort on November 10. 15 people were killed in this explosion. After the blast, Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested Muzammil Ganai, Adeel Rather and Shahina Saeed as well as Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wage. According to a statement by the NIA spokesperson, the anti-terrorism probe agency took him into custody in Srinagar following a production order by the District Sessions Judge at the Patiala House Court here.

The car was bought in the name of Ali

An NIA spokesperson said, ‘All of them played an important role in the terrorist attack, in which many innocent people were killed and many others were injured.’ With their custody being handed over to the NIA, the number of people accused by the central agency has increased to six. NIA officially took over the case on November 11. Officials said that NIA has already arrested two people Aamir Rashid Ali and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish. He told that Dr. Umar-un-Nabi was driving a car filled with explosives and he had allegedly purchased the car in the name of Ali. Wani was arrested when it was revealed that Omar was trying to instigate him to become a suicide bomber. Although he was not ready for this, he is accused of agreeing to join the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed as an active member.

During the investigation, 2,900 kg of explosives were recovered from Al Falah University in Faridabad. The incident began on the night of 18-19 October, when posters of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed appeared on walls on the outskirts of Srinagar city. These posters warned of attacks on police and security forces in the valley. Three people, Arif Nisar Dar alias Sahil, Yasir-ul-Ashraf and Maqsood Ahmed Dar alias Shahid, were arrested after they were seen pasting the posters in CCTV footage. During interrogation, he took the name of former ‘paramedic’ turned religious leader Maulvi Irfan, who had provided the posters, and he was arrested. Ganai was first arrested from Faridabad. Then Saeed was also arrested from the same city. Later, Adeel Rather was arrested from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
