Lasooni Methi Recipe: Winter is the season of green vegetables and the fragrance of fenugreek definitely wins the heart. And many types of delicious dishes are also prepared from fenugreek. When the mild bitterness of fenugreek is cooked with the flavor of garlic and spices, it creates a wonderful taste. So today we are going to tell you an easy, quick and very tasty recipe of “Lahsuni Methi”. If you eat it with roti, paratha or dal-rice, it tastes great.

Material (Lasooni Methi Recipe)
- Fenugreek leaves – 2 cups (finely chopped)
- Garlic – 10-12 cloves (finely chopped or crushed)
- Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Green chilli – 1-2 (chopped)
- Tomato – 1 small (chopped)
- Oil – 1–2 tbsp
- Cumin – ½ tsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – as per taste

Method (Lasooni Methi Recipe)
1- Clean and wash fenugreek leaves thoroughly. Shake off a little water and chop finely.
2- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and let it crackle. Now add chopped garlic and fry until it becomes light golden. Add onion and fry until it becomes transparent. Add green chillies.
3- Add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder. Fry the spices for 20–30 seconds. Add fenugreek and mix well. Cover and let it cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
4- If you want to add tomatoes then add them at this time. Add salt and cook for 3–4 more minutes until the fenugreek becomes soft.
5- When the oil starts appearing slightly separated from the fenugreek, turn off the gas. Fragrant “Lahsuni Methi” is ready to serve. Serve it with hot roti, paratha or bajra roti. It tastes different even with lentils and rice.
