New Delhi: In Sanatan Dharma, Tulsi is considered to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi. It is believed that planting a Tulsi plant in the house and serving it regularly brings prosperity, good fortune and peace in life. For this reason, special importance has been given to Tulsi Puja and its measures on many auspicious occasions including Ekadashi.

According to astrologers, even a small Tulsi leaf has a very miraculous effect. Tulsi remedies done correctly not only remove financial problems but also increase positive energy and Goddess Lakshmi’s grace in life.

Tulsi remedy to overcome financial crisis

Astrologers say that if a person is struggling with shortage of money or is experiencing blockage in his sources of income, then he must try a simple but effective solution. After morning bath, pay obeisance to Tulsi, pluck one of its leaves and keep it in a red cloth. Place this leaf at the feet of Goddess Lakshmi and wish for increase in wealth.

After this, wrap this leaf in the same red cloth and keep it safe in a place where money is kept or in a safe. It is said that this increases positive energy in the house and the abode of Goddess Lakshmi remains. As a result, economic conditions start improving and poverty does not even come near the doorstep for seven births.

Importance of offering Tulsi Dal on Sunday and Ekadashi

It is considered very auspicious to offer Tulsi Dal i.e. Tulsi leaves as bhog to Lord Vishnu on Sunday, Ekadashi or any special festival. If this experiment is being done on Ekadashi, then the leaf should be broken and kept a day before, because “Tulsi leaf should not be broken on the day of Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu considers Tulsi leaves very dear. It is believed that a Tulsi leaf offered with devotion can fulfill the wishes of the devotee.

Pay special attention to these rules to Tulsi

  • Never break a basil leaf on Ekadashi date.

  • Do not use withered or dry leaves.

  • Do not wrap the leaf in black or white cloth.

  • Before plucking a Tulsi leaf, take a bath and pay obeisance to Tulsi.

  • Do not pluck the leaf with a blow or with a nail, but break it gently.
