The entire city will witness a historic moment in Ayodhya today i.e. on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will hoist the sacred saffron flag on the peak of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Preparations for this special ‘Religion Flag’ ceremony are in full swing and the most enthusiasm is visible in the person who is considered to be Ram Lalla’s closest neighbor – Noor Alam.
Noor Alam, the owner of the land adjacent to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, said in a special conversation with ANI on Monday, “We have been living here for generations. We are also known as the neighbors of Lord Shri Ram. It is our good fortune to get a chance to participate in this program. We will definitely go. History is being written and we will witness it. Such moments are remembered throughout our life.”
42 year old Noor Alam expressed happiness over the changing face of Ayodhya that he saw with his own eyes. He said, “In the 42 years of my life, I have seen Ayodhya in many forms. We could never have imagined that our Ayodhya would become so grand. Today the name of Ayodhya is taken all over the world. All the credit for this goes to our Prime Minister and Chief Minister.”
Noor Alam further said, “In such a small town, we had never even dreamed that we would have an international airport, wide roads like Rampath and such a wonderful railway station. Earlier people here used to go to Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Gujarat to do business, but today people from those cities come here to do business. We will never forget their favors. The pride of being neighbors of Ram Lalla cannot be expressed in words. Today everyone is happy in Ayodhya.”
Talking about the atmosphere in Ayodhya after the consecration of Ram Lalla in January 2024, Noor Alam said, “After the consecration, the atmosphere here has become such that everyone seems happy. No one is worried. God’s grace is showering on everyone.”
Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra said that the flag hoisting on Tuesday is not just a celebration. This is a message to devotees around the world that the construction of the grand Ram temple has now been completely completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will make this moment unforgettable by hoisting the saffron flag on the summit.
