Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Dia Kumari attended the Special Intensive Review (SIR) workshop held in Vidyadhar Nagar assembly constituency today. On this occasion, he interacted with the party workers and stressed the need for accurate, error-free and transparent revision of the voter list. The main objective of the workshop was to review the progress of the SIR process and strengthen its effective implementation at the grassroots level.
Diya Kumari said in her address that correct and updated voter list is the basis of the strength of the democratic system. Missing the name of even one eligible citizen from the list affects his democratic participation. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every worker to go door-to-door in their areas to inform people about the SIR process and ensure that the name of every eligible citizen is registered in the voter list. He said that this is not just an administrative process but a democratic duty, which requires active cooperation.

The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the technical aspects to the SIR process and the work being done under it. He asked the officers and workers where difficulties were being faced during the review and what steps could be taken to remove them. He urged the workers to motivate youth, new voters, women and senior citizens to get their names added to the voter list. He said that awareness is the biggest medium through which democratic participation can be broadened.
BJP District President Amit Goyal, Assembly Convenor Shailendra Bhargava, Mandal President Rakesh Aggarwal, Ashok Sharma, Mal Singh Shekhawat, Vinod Saini, Jayant Kumawat including district officials, councilors, councilor candidates, mandal and ward convenors and co-convenors, BLA-2, Morcha President and a large number of party workers were present in the workshop. All the officials shared their suggestions and experiences to the SIR process.
Dia Kumari said on this occasion that keeping in mind the upcoming elections, it is very important for the voter list to be accurate and error-free. Encouraging the workers, he said that every party worker should contribute in this process and ensure that no citizen is deprived of this important right of democracy. He also said that the BJP organization always works among the public and processes like SIR also provide an important opportunity to reach out to the public.
At the end of the workshop, the Deputy Chief Minister thanked the officials and workers present and said that with the collective efforts of everyone, this special intensive revision of the voter list will be successful and the democratic process will become stronger. He expressed hope that Vidyadhar Nagar assembly constituency will set an ideal example in the SIR process and wider participation of citizens will be ensured.
