Lucknow. Assistant teacher Vipin Kumar Yadav, who was doing the duty of Booth Level Officer (BLO) in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, died under suspicious circumstances. Family members allege that due to work pressure and harassment, he consumed poisonous substance. The district administration has now constituted a high-level committee to investigate this video and all the facts to the incident. UP Congress President has targeted the government on this incident.

UP Congress President Ajay Rai said that the increasing pressure on BLO is extremely worrying. The spate of deaths—especially incidents of suicide—have raised serious questions over the functioning of the Election Commission, and the government.

Village-Malhani, Jaunpur Assistant Teacher (BLO) Vipin Yadav ji had committed suicide by consuming poison. Today we reached his Jaunpur residence and met his family members and expressed condolences. UP Congress demands that BLO working conditions be safe, humane and dignified – the Election Commission should take immediate concrete steps.

After the death of Vipin Yadav, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this, he is seen giving the reason for consuming poison to a woman’s question. In this he is saying that due to pressure he consumed poison.
