Delhi Air Pollution Today: According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 351 at 8 a.m. on Thursday, which is considered “very poor.” After a little improvement on Wednesday, pollution levels increased once again when GRAP Stage 3 was abolished. Bawana, Rohini, and Wazirpur were among the places that even approached the “severe” level.

AQI values continued to be high in Delhi-NCR: Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, reported 386 (very poor); Greater Noida, 370; Hapur, 376; Meerut, 320; Muzaffarnagar, 351; Noida, 369; Gurugram, 325; and Faridabad, 231.

The air quality is still at the “very poor” level, despite modest improvement over the last two to three days, which led the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to remove GRAP Stage 3 limitations.

Area-Wise AQI In Delhi-NCR: Akshardham recorded an AQI of 390 (very poor), Dhaula Kuan 356 (very poor), Anand Vihar 390 (very poor), Vivek Vihar 395, Jahangirpuri 392, Narela 388, Burari 368, Chandni Chowk 368, Sonia Vihar 355, RK Puram 354, IGI T3 301, Alipur 356, ITO 357, Ashok Vihar 388, Bawana 405, Chandni Chowk later touched 371, Jahangirpuri 394, Lodhi Road 323, Okhla 351, Rohini 400, Punjabi Bagh 377, RK Puram 356 and Wazirpur 406.

Delhi is expected to be frigid on Thursday, November 27, after registering the coldest dawn of the season on Wednesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that the highest temperature might be 23–25 degrees Celsius, while the low will likely be between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. On November 26, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius, which was around 3.3 degrees Celsius below average and the lowest November temperature in the previous three years. By contrast, the lowest temperature recorded in November of 2022 was 7.3 degrees Celsius. Light winds from the north will continue to blow at a speed of 0 to 10 km/h.
