The Railway Board has confirmed that the NTPC Undergraduate CBT-2 examination will take place on December 20, 2025, at various designated centers nationwide. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,058 vacancies.

The Railway Recruitment Board has officially announced the date for the NTPC Undergraduate CBT-2 exam, with a notification available on the board's website. Only those candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT-1 exam will be eligible for this second stage. The exam is a significant milestone for all selected candidates, covering roles such as Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Railway Clerk.

As per the Railway Recruitment Board, the City Intimation Slip will be made available around 10 days prior to the exam date. Candidates can expect to download this slip by December 9 or 10, 2025, which will indicate the city where their examination will occur. Following this, admit cards will be issued four days before the exam, allowing candidates to download them by December 16, 2025. It is important to note that admit cards will only be accessible online and will not be mailed.

This time, the RRB has mandated that candidates must present an Aadhaar card for entry into the examination center. Biometric verification will be conducted using the Aadhaar card. Candidates who have not linked or authenticated their Aadhaar on the RRB portal should complete this process promptly at rrbapply.gov.in. The CBT-2 will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, with 50 from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics, and 35 from General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam will last for 90 minutes, awarding one mark for each correct answer and deducting 1/3 mark for incorrect responses.
