Dharmendra College Principle on Actor's Death: Fans are deeply saddened by the demise of Bollywood's veteran superstar Dharmendra and are praying for the peace of the actor's soul. Fans all over the world are missing him and many are still unable to believe that the superstar has now said goodbye to this world. Dharmendra, a resident of Dango village of Sahnewal in Ludhiana, Punjab, died at the age of 89 in Mumbai. But Dharmendra had completed his studies from nursery to tenth class in Arya Samaj School of Phagwara. Dharmendra's father Kewal Krishna was also a teacher in this school and he used to teach in this school.

After the demise of Dharmendra, the entire staff including the principal and students of Ramgarhia College paid tribute to him and offered flowers and also prayed to God for the peace of his soul. The college principal gave special information to the team about Dharmendra's studies and acting. He told that Dharmendra had studied till 10th class in Arya Samaj School of Phagwara, after which he took admission in Ram Gadhiya College in 11th class. This was the time when he was very fond of watching movies and he used to secretly go from college to Phagwara to Jalandhar to watch movies by bus. He told that at that time watching films was not considered good but Dharmendra liked watching films and was also fond of acting.
Dr. Manjeet Singh, the current Principal of Ramgarhia College, said that Dharmendra was such a person who had brought glory to not only Ramgarhia College but the entire Punjab in the world. He told that when Dharmendra had become an actor, he had come to college once many years ago. According to the principal, he had met Dharmendra two to three times. Because Dharmendra was of the same age as his father and he used to respect him like his father. The Principal said that Dharmendra died at the age of 89 but living for such a long time is no longer easy in today's times. After the demise of Dharmendra, an era has ended because there will be no other actor like Dharmendra in this world.
Harbhajan Singh, who retired after working as a peon in the school in Phagwara where Dharmendra had studied, said that he worked as a peon in the same school for 45 to 50 years. Harbhajan said that Dharmendra has studied in this school from nursery to tenth class. His father Kewal Krishna also used to teach children as a teacher in this school. He told that this school is very old and the condition of the school has now deteriorated but now a new building is being constructed in the school.
He told that Dharmendra used to study in this school and used to play in the same ground. Dharmendra came to school 8-10 years ago. There was a school holiday that day but he met her and also got his photo taken with her. We all are very saddened by his demise because Dharmendra has brought glory not only to our school but to entire Punjab.
Ramu, who is working as a peon in Arya Samaj School, told that Dharmendra has studied in some school from nursery to tenth class and his father was a teacher there. Ramu said that Dharmendra had come to the school 8 to 10 years ago and he had met him and even got photographed with him. Dharmendra went to Ramgarhia College after studying from school and took admission there. We all are very saddened by his fearlessness because we last met Dharmendra only 8 to 10 years ago.
