Punjab National Bank has released a major update for the Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2025. The bank has extended the application deadline to December 1, 2025. Changes have also been made to the category-wise vacancies, providing relief to candidates who, for some reason, were unable to apply on time.

A total of 750 positions have been announced for this PNB recruitment. The bank has clearly stated in its notice that the application deadline has been extended from November 23 to December 1. The bank states that this step has been taken to provide better convenience to candidates and attract more applications. Additionally, the vacancy list has been updated. Candidates will now be able to better understand the available seats according to their category.

The educational qualification for candidates is a graduate from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must have 1 year of experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB).

The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years. Reserved categories will receive relaxation as per government regulations. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.

The selection process for PNB LBO recruitment will be conducted in four stages. First, an online exam will be conducted, assessing candidates on reasoning, English, quant, and banking awareness. This will be followed by shortlisting through a screening test. A language test will then assess candidates' proficiency in the local language. The final stage will be an interview, which will assess personality, communication skills, and banking understanding.

The PNB LBO exam will include questions from reasoning, English, quantitative aptitude, general banking awareness, and the local language. Reasoning will include puzzles, syllogisms, coding-decoding, and data sufficiency. English will include reading comprehension, grammar, and a cloze test. Quantitative questions include percentages, averages, DI, speed-distance-time, and profit-loss. General banking awareness will include RBI policies, banking terminology, and financial information.

Candidates can apply online by visiting PNB's official website, pnbindia.in. The application process is simple. It is mandatory to upload the required documents, such as a passport-sized photo, signature, educational certificates, experience certificates, and documents related to reserved categories, while filling out the form. After paying the application fee, submit the form and keep a printout. The bank advises applying as soon as possible to avoid last-minute server problems.
