Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana: The Bihar government launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana for women in the state before the elections. This scheme is providing direct financial assistance to women, opening new avenues for earning. Each eligible woman is provided with ₹10,000. More than 10 million women have benefited from this Bihar government scheme so far.

Many women have started small businesses with this money. Some have opened new avenues for income by receiving skill training. The government has rapidly expanded this scheme, and this is why a large number of women are joining each installment. Today, on November 28th, another installment of the scheme was released. Under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme, the Bihar government is transferring ₹10,000 to the bank accounts of 10 lakh more women on Friday. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself made the transfer via DBT. A separate program was held for this, attended by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and several senior officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the first installment of this scheme in September, and a large number of women received direct benefits. Subsequently, on October 3, 2.5 million new women were given ₹10,000 in assistance. So far, 13 million women have received the amount.
