Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced an extension for the application deadline for the Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2025, now set for December 1, 2025. This update also includes modifications to the category-wise vacancies, which total 750 positions.
This decision aims to assist candidates who may have missed the initial application deadline. The bank has officially communicated that the application period has shifted from November 23 to December 1, enhancing convenience for applicants and encouraging more submissions.
The recruitment drive offers 750 vacancies, with an updated list that clarifies available positions based on categories, allowing candidates to better understand their options.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university and possess at least one year of experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank (RRB).
The age criteria stipulate a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum of 30 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. The age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.
The selection process for the PNB LBO recruitment consists of four stages: an online examination covering reasoning, English, quantitative aptitude, and banking awareness; a screening test for shortlisting; a language proficiency test; and a final interview assessing personality and communication skills.
The exam will feature questions from various subjects, including reasoning (puzzles, syllogisms, coding-decoding), English (reading comprehension, grammar), quantitative aptitude (percentages, averages, data interpretation), and general banking awareness (RBI policies, banking terminology).
Candidates can apply online through PNB's official website, pnbindia.in. The application process is straightforward, requiring the upload of necessary documents such as a passport-sized photo, signature, educational and experience certificates, and any relevant documents for reserved categories. After completing the application and paying the fee, candidates should print a copy for their records. The bank recommends applying early to avoid potential server issues.
