As the reports suggest he is charging between Rs 120 to 150 crore for the season which has created massive buzz. Earlier Bigg Boss 19 producer Rishi Negi also addressed these rumours and spoke about Bhai-jaans involvement in the show. While Salman Khan is one of the highest-paid celebrities on Indian television he has not confirmed any numbers. However recent reports continue to suggest that he charged between Rs 120–150 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 19. Rishi Negi earlier opened up about Salman’s commitment to the show. He said “So Salman does try to catch episodes obviously. If he is not able to watch he watches an hour or two of footage with us on the weekend to go through all the big points that have happened in the house.” “He is worth every penny”: Negi on Salman’s Rumoured Fee Addressing rumours about Salman Khans fee for this season Rishi said “Whatever the rumour is whatever it is he is worth every penny. For me as long as he is there on my weekend I am a happy person.” He further added that Salman’s emotional connection to the show has grown significantly over the years. “But I think now even he has a huge emotional connection with the show. And you can see it playing out when he is on stage because you know the way he gets involved in a discussion or the way he gets involved in a mudda (issue) is because it comes from within.” Salman Doesn’t Say Anything He Doesn’t Believe In Negi further clarified rumours that Salman only says what the makers ask him to on Weekend Ka Vaar. He said “Whoever knows Salman Khan knows that it’s not possible to make him say anything that he doesn’t believe in right? He has his own point of view on whether that particular thing is right or wrong. We discuss debate and then we go on the floor.” Salman’s Deep Involvement in How Weekends Are Crafted Speaking about how the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes come together Negi shared “So putting all of that together is how we stitch the weekend together.” He added that Salman receives constant feedback from people he knows: “So he sees all of them being played out. He also has a lot of people who he knows watch the show who call him and give him feedback.” Creators and Hosts Both Shape the Show Negi concluded by highlighting how both Salman and the creators influence the weekend narrative. He said: So he has a huge buy-in on what’s happening in the house what’s happening with the contestants. He has a point of view. We as the creators of the show have a point of view in terms of how we are viewing it. We also have a lot of audience feedback that keeps pouring in.”
