Kartik Aryan and Ananya Pandey are all set to dazzle the theaters this Christmas with 'Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri'. This film has been directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film is coming to theaters on 25th December. But even before the release of the film, it seems to be embroiled in controversies. Veteran filmmaker Rajiv Rai has warned of going to court against Karthik's film. The matter is being said to be of copyright infringement.
Actually the makers on 14th November Karthik Aryan A poster teaser of the film was shared. In this small unique teaser, the opening tune of the iconic song Saat Samandar from the film Vishwatma was used. Now controversy has started regarding this. Vishwatma, released in 1992, was made by Rajeev Rai. Fans immediately recognized that tune. Now it is being said that no one had taken permission from Rajeev Rai to use that famous tune of Saat Samandar in the teaser.
A report by Box Office Worldwide states that director Rajeev Rai is not happy with this entire incident. He has asked his legal team to inform Dharma Productions and music label Saregama about this. The film is made under the banner of Dharma. The filmmaker says that it is true that Saregama has the rights to some of his songs, but there is no mention in the agreement that he will use their music in any other film.

He told that his legal team is ready to approach Karan Johar and his team. He has expressed hope that the matter will be resolved before going to court. He believes that going to court is a waste of time, energy and money.
