Thursday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! saw another contestant bid farewell to the camp. Ant and Dec made their way into the camp to reveal the next individual to be voted off the ITV show.
The pair confirmed that Martin Kemp's stint in the Australian jungle had come to an end, just a few days shy of the finale on Sunday night (December 7).
The remaining celebrities were quick to embrace Martin after he was announced as the sixth person to depart the camp. He then proceeded to chat with Ant and Dec about his experiences on the programme.
So far, viewers have witnessed the exits of Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi, Vogue Williams, Kelly Brook, and Ruby Wax from the jungle, much to the astonishment of fans.
Martin managed to survive for a total of 20 days in the Australian wilderness. On Thursday's episode (December 4), viewers watched him tackle the latest Bushtucker Trial alongside Tom Read Wilson, reports Daily Star.
The duo succeeded in securing five out of seven stars in the Lethal Libraries trial.
Martin's departure quickly sparked reactions among viewers, with many taking to social media to express their thoughts.
One viewer shared: "No!!!! Not Martin. Tom better win now!!!!" Another expressed disappointment, saying: "AWWWW I WANTED TO SEE MARTIN TO TAKE ON THE CYCLONE #ImACeleb"
A third fan wrote: "Noooo, Martin. He was done so dirty."
While another shared: "I don't care what people say. Martin, you are an absolute legend I'm sorry to see you go."
Expressing their sadness at his departure, one person added: "Martin's just a sweet, gentle guy. Oddly emotional about him." Another said: "Aww, not Martin, I wanted him to stay after doing well in that trial."
The 64-year-old reflected on his time on the show, telling Ant and Dec: "What a trip! It's a weird trip. When I'm looking at that, it's like it doesn't exist! I'm in the middle of a television screen, that's what it looks like. I'm so used to watching it on TV. I mean, mental."
When asked about his favourite part of the experience, Martin replied: "The other people, without a doubt. Just sitting around. Not even the trials, just sitting around talking. I said it a few times on there, I'm not one for making new friends, this is the first time I'd done it for years, I absolutely loved it."
Discussing who he'd like to see crowned winner, the singer told Ant and Dec he believes Shona McGarty could take the title, noting how much she's blossomed since her arrival.
In a surprising turn of events, Ant and Dec informed viewers that there will be a double elimination on Friday night, encouraging people to cast their votes for who they want to remain in the competition to win the show.
