The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released subject-wise model papers for classes 10th and 12th. Students can download them from the official website, upmsp.edu.in.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released a major update for millions of students preparing for the UP Board 10th and 12th exams. The board has uploaded subject-wise model papers for both classes, helping students make their exam preparation easier, safer, and more efficient than ever before. These model papers are available on the official website, upmsp.edu.in, where anyone can download them without any hassle.
These days, the exam pattern is constantly changing, so model papers serve as a guide for students. By solving them, students understand what types of questions may be asked in the exam and which chapters require more attention.
The pattern of Class 10th questions has changed.
The UP Board has divided the Class 10th exam into two parts to ensure a clear and balanced level of questions.
Part A
This section will contain a total of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Each question will carry 1 mark.
Students will be required to answer these questions using a blue or black ballpoint pen on an OMR sheet.
It is important to avoid using erasers or whiteners, as this could damage the OMR sheet.
Part B
This section will contain descriptive questions.
This section, carrying a total of 50 marks, consists of short, very short, and long questions.
Each question will clearly indicate the number of sub-questions it contains.
Students will be given 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the paper. This means the time is sufficient; practice is all that is needed.
Model papers released for Class 12th as well
Class 12th students can now track their preparation. UPMSP has released model papers for all three streams of Intermediate (Class 12th) – Science, Commerce, and Humanities – for the 2025-26 session.
Students appearing for the board exams in 2026 can download subject-wise model papers by visiting the website. This will give them an idea of which types of questions are most likely to appear from which unit and the overall pattern of the paper.
