Ayurvedic Herbs For Asthma: Winter season is going on. In this season, along with common health problems like cold and cough, respiratory diseases like asthma also arise. It is not easy for asthma patients to tolerate cold temperatures. Due to pollution and weak immunity, these people have difficulty in breathing, for which they carry inhalers all the time. Even in winter, asthma patients have to take the help of medicines, but there are some remedies in Ayurveda which provide relief from this respiratory disease in a simple way.

Here, according to the Health Ministry, it has been said that there is a need to fight asthma and not to fear it. With the help of Ayurveda, asthma can be easily controlled and the entire winter can be spent without any problem.

Know what is the problem of asthma

Here the disease of asthma has been considered as ‘Tamak Shwas’ in Ayurveda. The reason for the emergence of this problem is the very cold temperature in winter. When there is a risk of asthma, the balance of Kapha and Vata dosha in the body gets disturbed. There are many main symptoms of asthma, the main symptoms of which are wheezing while breathing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and increase in cough at night. Factors like weak digestive system, toxins accumulated in the body, cold-humid weather, wrong eating habits and mental stress are responsible for increasing these symptoms.

Control asthma with these Ayurvedic methods

According to Ayurveda, it is said that there is no need to panic about the disease of asthma, it can be controlled with the right treatment and a few changes. Here the Health Ministry has given many Ayurvedic remedies.

  • Among these remedies, it is beneficial to consume Vasaka (Adusa), Pippali and Tulsi for relief from asthma. It strengthens the lungs and expels phlegm.
  • Panchakarma method can also be beneficial for asthma patients. Processes like vomiting and catharsis clean the respiratory tubes by removing accumulated phlegm and toxic substances from the body.
  • Asthma patients can also control this problem through home remedies. For example, drinking hot water mixed with turmeric and honey, ginger-basil tea and steaming provide relief to respiratory patients.
  • You can prevent diseases like asthma in winter by adopting small changes and Ayurvedic treatments. Make simple daily changes like eating hot, light and nutritious food and avoiding cold, heavy, fried foods. Do light exercise and pranayam in the morning.
  • In this problem of asthma, you can do yoga like Anulom-Vilom, Bhastrika, Kapalbhati after taking advice from an expert. Keep the humidity in the room low, wear warm clothes and avoid smoke and dust.
