Good news for tech lovers as Apple which manufactures iPhones and other electronic products is preparing to open a new store in India. The upcoming outlet will be located at the DLF Mall of India near Delhi. This will be Apples fifth retail location in India after Mumbai Delhi Bengaluru and Pune. Additionally this is also Apples first retail location in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The new Noida retail outlet will feature the complete assortment of Apple products complemented by an elegant shopping environment. The new store in Noida will provide the complete range of Apple items to customers as well as a high-end shopping experience. Apple’s retail journey in India began with the launch of its first two stores -- Mumbai’s BKC and Delhi’s Saket -- in April 2023. In their first year the two outlets reportedly generated nearly Rs 800 crore in combined revenue making them among Apple’s best-performing stores worldwide as reported by news agency IANS. Interestingly the smaller Saket store contributed almost 60 per cent of total sales. At Apple Noida located at DLF Mall of India more than 80 team members are ready to help customers shop for the latest Apple products — including the latest iPhone series; Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 models; and the all-new iPad Pro and 14-inch MacBook Pro — both powered by the M5 chip. At the store customers can take advantage of the following unique services offered by Apple: Individually tailored device set-up First-time iOS user quick-switching options Apple’s Trade-In Program allows customers to exchange an older device. EMI options for purchasing products Apple experts will assist users make the most of every device These services are designed to provide a complete and seamless Apple experience for every customer. The store of Apple store at DLF Mall of India occupies an area of 8240.78 sq ft. As per several news reports Apple has signed a lease agreement for 11 years with a total rent of approximately ₹65 crore. According to the CRE Matrix Apple has leased six units on the ground floor of the mall in Noida. The monthly rent per square foot is Rs 263.15 which will remain fixed for an 11-year term. As part of the lease agreement one year’s rent is waived . On average this amounts to approximately Rs 45.3 lakh per month equating to approximately Rs 5.4 crore for the year.
