Uttar Pradesh News: The second part of the Green Corridor project is expected to be finished by the end of December, which would be a huge relief for the people of Lucknow. According to the authorities, the Gomti River’s banks would provide easy commuting for more than five lakh people, improving regional connections. They said that the Rashtra Prerna Sthal and the Green Corridor would probably be launched and made public on December 25. Additionally, the authorities said that work on flyovers, bridges, and other locations is nearing completion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said earlier this month that a number of new projects will probably be revealed in the coming months.

The authorities further said that the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is building a green corridor between IIM Road and Kisan Path, which would span 57 kilometers. They said that three significant development projects, totaling over Rs 130 crore, are being carried out between Samtamulak Chowk and Nishatganj. The authorities said that a road and embankment between Kukrail and Nishatganj had been built at a cost of Rs 40 crore, measuring one kilometer in length and eighteen meters in width.
“The Prime Minister’s inauguration agenda now includes the Green Corridor project and the National Inspiration Site. Construction is moving quickly and will shortly be finished. Thus, it is yet unclear whether the second phase would be launched concurrently,” Jagran.Com said Prathamesh Kumar, Vice Chairman, Lucknow Development Authority.
The project will also include the construction of a bridge that spans the Gomti River and is 250 meters long, according to the authorities. The G-20 road and the embankment road being constructed on the army property will be connected by this bridge. They said that the building of this bridge, which is expected to cost Rs 60 crore, has been put out to bid.
