Maulana Arshad Madani Statement Controversy: A new and heated debate has erupted between the Delhi bomb blasts and the recent statement of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani. Madhya Pradesh's famous IAS officer Niaz Khan has given a very strong reaction to Madani's claim which is now going viral on social media.
Niaz Khan has directly said that fanaticism and superstition have held back a large section of the community, while education is the only path to progress and respect. This frank statement of his has created a stir on the internet.
In his post on social media platform X on Sunday morning, the IAS officer wrote that education is no less than a panacea for Muslims. He clarified that Muslims who get good education become governors and mayors in big cities of the world. On the contrary, those who follow the path of fanaticism end up becoming mere mechanics who fix punctures or become injustice makers to women. While talking to a news channel, he explained that educated Muslims become examples in the society, while those who indulge in fundamentalist ideas stop their own progress.
Education is the real power
This controversy started when Maulana Arshad Madani said that a Muslim can become mayor in London or New York, but in India no Muslim can even become the Vice Chancellor of a university. He said that even if someone becomes successful, he is sent to jail like Azam Khan. IAS Niaz Khan expressed complete disagreement on this. Citing examples of stalwarts like APJ Abdul Kalam and Mohammad Azharuddin, he said that Indian Muslims have earned fame in the world on the basis of their hard work and education. He clearly said that there is no obstacle in front of education and hard work in India.

puncture maker and mayor
Niaz Khan wrote in very clear words in his post that the Muslim who received education became the Mayor of London, New York and became the Governor and Lieutenant Governor in America. Whereas the Muslim who received the education of fanaticism and superstition became a mechanic, one who did injustice to women and one who made punctures. He stressed that people have to understand that education is the real power. While Madani had claimed that the government does not want to let Muslims stand with their heads held high, the IAS officer tried to prove that only knowledge, not fanaticism, can take the society forward.
