The auction for the IPL 2026 season will be organized in Abu Dhabi on 16 December. This time around 350 players are part of the auction, on which bids will be made. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has alerted all the franchises regarding one of these players. This player is Indian all-rounder Deepak Hooda. BCCI has told all the 10 teams that Hooda can be stopped from bowling in this IPL and the reason for this is his bowling action.
Cricbuzz has revealed in its report that BCCI has placed Deepak Hooda in the list of doubtful bowling action, due to which he may be banned from bowling in the upcoming IPL season. 30-year-old Indian all-rounder Hooda mainly plays as a batsman but also does part-time off-spin bowling. It has been told in the report that if Hooda's bowling action is found suspicious again before the start of IPL or during the tournament, then his bowling will be banned and he will be able to play only as a batsman. Hooda has kept his base price at Rs 75 lakh.
