John Terry has taken a jab at Tottenhamon social media. The ex-Chelseaskipper used his countless accolades won in west London to taunt his long-time rivals.

Terry won five Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge, alongside five FA Cup trophies, a Champions League and Europa League crown as well as three League Cups.

The 45-year-old retired in 2018 with a career record of 17 wins in 32 matches against Tottenham, losing just six times. But despite the fact he has hung up his boots, Terry hasn't stopped piling pain onto his rivals.

As part of a trend that sees people emulate actor Jon Hamm's viral dancing scene from his TV series Your Friends and Neighbours, Terry posted a video to TikTok.

The post is captioned "Couldn't help myself had to jump on this trend" and pictures Terry in front of a vast trophy cabinet, which holds replica silverware and England caps.

Terry stands in front of the cabinet with text that reads: "When you've won it all but Spurs are still s**t." The ex-Blues captain then closes his eyes in joy just as Hamm does in the viral dance.

The former defender's distaste for rivals Tottenham is no secret. Speaking to talkSPORTabout Spurs boss Thomas Frank in July, he said: "I think Thomas Frank is a good manager.

"But I don't think they're in a good place. Seeing where they finished last year, I look at them and the foundations, the facilities, training ground and stadium are incredible.

"I think it's time for a change there with someone coming in to give it a real go. But I'm happy for them to stay where they are. There's no beating around the bush with Spurs: I hate Spurs.

"They hate me. It's really simple. You grow up on that and it's pure hate, I hope they stay where they are if I'm being honest."

His hatred was on full display in October when he rang up to contest Jamie O'Hara's claim on talkSPORT that: "Spurs globally are bigger than Chelsea."

Terry replied: "What on earth is he on about this morning, O'Hara? Even using those two words together, Spurs and globally, should never be in the same sentence ever, ever again.

"Mate, they're still doing their pre-season tours around north London. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, I've been invited to the game [versus Chelsea in November] by Tottenham at the weekend. So it's a 5.30 kick-off.

"They've asked me to get there at 5.29 and they said they'll take me round the trophy cabinet and they'll have me in my seat by kick-off. That's how miles off it they are, mate."
