Mukesh Ambani on ChatGPT And AI: Reliance Industries’ Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Thursday stated that history tells us that countries become true economic powers when they have a strong base of science and technology and this according to him can happen only when countries lead in these fields with world-class universities. While addressing the 13th convocation of Pandit Deendayal Energy University in Gandhinagar Ambani emphasised that the United States became the US because of its best-in-the-world universities. The event was attended by 2195 students including 41 PhD scholars. What Did Mukesh Ambani Say? “A decade ago the rest of India was talking about vibrant Gujarat. Today the rest of the world is talking about vibrant India. Sudhir Mehta Chairman Emeritus of Torrent Group who was the chief guest of the event praised the students for their hard work and gave them three key principles – embellish self-reliance as a personal ethos think big and engage with technology but stay grounded in values. “What began in 2007 as a visionary initiative by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on petroleum study has today flourished into a multidisciplinary university of national and international acclaim” he said. Director General of PDEU Prof S Sundar Manoharan said that it is the first time that the university marked its global presence by securing the QS Asia University Rankings 2025. PDEU secured 851 position in 900 bracket.
