While Salman Khan walked the red carpet at the Red Sea International Film Festival like a global superstar, his on-stage confession left the audience pleasantly surprised. Known for his larger-than-life persona and decades-long superstardom, Salman stunned fans by openly poking fun at his own acting abilities—turning the moment into one of the festival’s most talked-about highlights.

The actor admitted that he does not consider himself a great performer and even joked that when he cries on screen, people end up laughing. However, the audience present strongly disagreed with his self-assessment. Salman candidly stated that he never tries to “act” and instead simply reacts based on what he feels in the moment.

Reflecting on his craft, Salman said, “Acting has also left this generation. Toh mujhe nahi lagta ki main koi bahut hi kamaal ka actor hoon (so I don’t think I am a particularly great actor). You can catch me doing anything, but you can’t catch me acting. Voh hoti hi nahi mujhse (I just can’t do it). Jaisa feel hota hai, vaise karta hoon. Bas yahi hai (I do what I feel in that moment. That’s all).”

When the host asked the audience if Salman was being too harsh on himself, fans immediately objected. Adding a humorous twist, the superstar said “Sometimes when I cry, I feel you all laugh at me.” The crowd instantly replied, “No, we cry with you.”

Videos of the interaction soon went viral on social media, drawing overwhelming love from fans. One user commented, “You are the best actor.” Another wrote, “I swear, when Salman cries, you cry with him.” A third fan added, “You’re the only actor who can make us cry so deeply,” while another simply said, “You are perfect just the way you are.”
