Sports: The third T20 match between India and South Africa is being organized at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala. In this main match, Indian team’s leading all-rounder Hardik Pandya has achieved an important achievement. Hardik Pandya has now become the first fast bowling all-rounder to score more than 1000 runs and take more than 100 wickets in Men’s T20 International cricket.
Earlier, this special record in T-20 international cricket was held only by spin all-rounders. Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan and Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe have already crossed the mark of 1000 runs and 100 wickets. Hardik Pandya has now become the fourth player to be included in this list, but he is the only player among fast bowlers to achieve this feat.
With this, Hardik Pandya has become the third bowler to take 100 wickets for India in T-20 international cricket. Before him, this achievement was recorded only in the names of Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah. Arshdeep Singh has 112 wickets in his account, while Jasprit Bumrah has taken 101 wickets. Hardik’s place in this list shows that he is an extremely important player for the team not only in batting but also in bowling.
Apart from this, in the first match of the current series, Hardik also completed his 100 sixes in T20 International cricket. With this, he has joined the club of legendary players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The record of hitting most sixes in T-20 for India is in the name of Rohit Sharma, who has hit 205 sixes. In second place is Suryakumar Yadav, who has 155 sixes in his name. Virat Kohli is also included in this list, who has hit 124 sixes so far. Now Hardik Pandya has also reached this milestone, while KL Rahul is just one six away from the figure of 100 sixes. With all these achievements, Hardik Pandya has once again proved that he is one of the most reliable all-rounders in India.
