Deepinder Goyal, founder and CEO of Zomato’s parent company Eternal, has recently presented a unique gadget on social media. Their new experimental device ‘Temple’ is a small, gold-coloured device which is worn on the forehead and tracks blood flow in the brain in real time.
Goyal has clarified that the gadget is not the result of any marketing stunt, but is part of his long-running scientific research. For the past two years, he has conducted intensive studies on biology, neuroscience, and the aging process. During this research, he has also worked on ways to slow down human aging.
Goyal believes gravity may also contribute to the aging process. He says that when a person remains standing straight, the blood flow in his brain decreases slightly, which affects the parts that control aging. ‘Temple’ has been developed to test this principle.
The teaser of this gadget shared on Instagram has aroused curiosity among people. Pictures of this golden gadget worn on the forehead are becoming increasingly viral, due to which the discussion about it has intensified in the technology world.
Goyal has given this information that he is sharing it from the perspective of a researcher rather than a CEO. Currently, the device is in the research stage and more information regarding its launch will be made available soon.
