Bihar IAS Promotion: In Bihar, five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials from the 2022 batch have been elevated to the position of Joint Secretary. In this respect, a notice was issued on Sunday by the General Administration Department. Purnia SDO Parth Gupta, Barh SDO Ashish Kumar, Bagaha SDO Gaurav Kumar, Biharsharif SDO Kajale Vaibhav Nitin, and Motihari Sadar SDO Nishant Sihara are among the officials who have been promoted.

In the meanwhile, Bhojpur district’s administrative history has reached a major turning point with the simultaneous posting of four IAS officials in important roles. This development is thought to improve the district’s ability to make decisions, administer operations more effectively, and carry out development plans.
Shipra Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, an IAS officer from the 2023 batch, was appointed as the Ara Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer on Friday, marking the most recent addition. With her arrival, Bhojpur now has four IAS officials working together, enhancing sub-divisional and district administration and accelerating administrative decisions.
Deputy Development Commissioner Gunjan Singh, trainee IAS officer Syed Adil Mohsin, and District Magistrate Tanay Sultania are now employed in the district. It is anticipated that having IAS officials in all significant administrative roles would enhance departmental collaboration and guarantee quicker execution, oversight, and implementation of government initiatives.
ADM-rank officials have also been assigned to important divisions including Public Grievance Redressal, Revenue, Disaster Management, and Special Branch. Vimal Kumar Singh has been named ADM Special, Qamar Alam as ADM Disaster Management, Dr. Baldev Chaudhary as District Public Grievance Redressal Officer (DPGRO), and Shashi Shekhar as ADM Revenue.
In addition to speeding up development initiatives in areas like roads, education, health, jobs, and infrastructure, officials anticipate that the improved administrative structure will assist in resolving long-standing problems with revenue, law and order, disaster management, and public complaints. The present stage is seen as a possible turning point for the district of Bhojpur’s overall growth since it has a strong administrative team in place.
