New Delhi: As the date of Delhi Assembly elections is approaching, the election campaign of political parties is continuously gaining momentum. During this election campaign, a lot of promotional material is also coming out which has been prepared using Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI technology. Keeping this in mind, the Central Election Commission has now issued guidelines to political parties regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence technology.
While issuing guidelines to all political parties, the Central Election Commission said that for some time now it has been observed that political parties are creating campaign material with the help of Artificial Intelligence technology. The Election Commission has given a clear instruction to all such political parties that if they are preparing any material using Artificial Intelligence (AI), then it should be clearly marked that the prepared material has not been published using Artificial Intelligence. It has been prepared.
While issuing these guidelines, the Election Commission has said that as the content generated by Artificial Intelligence is being used on a large scale, it is possible that it can influence the voters. Therefore, there is a need to maintain complete transparency and the voter should know which content is original and which is created using artificial intelligence technology. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar has directed the administration to remain alert and take prompt action against any attempt to spread false information. He has also requested political parties to maintain dignity and decorum during election campaign.
