Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently found himself in an all-too-familiar travel nightmare but the way he handled it won hearts online. The actor shared a video revealing that his IndiGo flight from Varanasi to Khajuraho was cancelled leaving him temporarily stranded just a day before an important film screening. Instead of venting anger Anupam chose humour food and faith turning frustration into perspective. What exactly went wrong with Anupam Kher’s travel plans? Anupam explained that he had flown from Hyderabad to Varanasi and was scheduled to take a connecting IndiGo flight to Khajuraho. He was heading there for the Khajuraho International Film Festival where his film Tanvi The Great is the opening feature. However the onward flight was suddenly cancelled with no immediate alternative available. “I usually don’t complain because no airline cancels a flight intentionally” Anupam said in the video. “But yes it is frustrating.” How did Anupam react instead of complaining? Rather than letting stress take over the actor decided to make the most of the situation. He announced plans to step out enjoy local food and soak in the city’s spiritual energy. “When something is not in your control enjoy the moment” he said adding that a good meal often fixes half of life’s problems. Anupam also shared that he would eventually travel by train or road to reach Khajuraho in time for the festival. “Filhaal toh khana khana chahta hoon” he joked striking a chord with many viewers.
