After marriage, a son was born to them, but he had a rare disease which affects less than 30 people worldwide. Now, due to her husband's long working hours and frequent absence from home, Kusano took the entire responsibility of raising the child.
According to the report of South China Morning Post, Kusano's life took a shocking turn when she found some aphrodisiacs in her husband's bag. Besides, suspicious notifications from a dating app also came on his phone. Then when Kusano asked, her husband told that he is often stressed due to work, hence they had an affair. Kusano told Yoga Journal that learning about the disease helped her cope with it. For the sake of their son, she tried to talk to her husband and even went to therapy with him, but they are no longer together. Now separated and raising her son alone, Kusano has turned her story into a comic with the help of Japanese manga artist Pirio Arai and is finding a way to heal emotionally through art. He has also written a book based on his experience, the story of which has created a stir on social media.
