Billie Eilish’s latest release, the Live EP, has made a notable debut across several Billboard charts in the United States, achieving strong results on vinyl while simultaneously recording the lowest Billboard 200 entry of her career.

The four-track EP was released exclusively for Record Store Day 2025 and features live performances of songs originally appearing on Eilish’s 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft. Side A of the vinyl includes live versions of “Skinny” and “Wildflower,” while Side B features “Birds of a Feather” and “La Mort de Ma Vie.” The project was produced as a limited-edition physical release, with no standalone streaming rollout.

The EP entered Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart at number seven, marking Eilish’s seventh top 10 appearance on that chart. Of the 20,000 vinyl copies pressed for release, approximately 10,000 were sold in the United States during the first week, underscoring the continued enthusiasm of her fanbase for collectible physical formats.

Despite its vinyl success, the Live EP debuted at number 163 on the Billboard 200, representing the lowest chart position of Eilish’s career to date. According to data from Luminate, the EP sold just under 10,000 total units during its opening week. The modest showing reflects the limited availability of the release and its absence from major streaming platforms.

In addition to the Billboard 200, Eilish appeared on several other charts with the EP. It debuted at number 13 on the Top Album Sales chart, number 22 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, and number 37 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.

Meanwhile, Eilish’s previous studio albums continue to outperform the new release. Hit Me Hard and Soft returned to number one on both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts in the same tracking week. Earlier albums, including Happier Than Ever and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, also maintained stronger positions across major Billboard rankings.

The chart performance of the Live EP highlights the growing contrast between vinyl-driven releases and mainstream chart success. While exclusive physical formats continue to resonate with dedicated fans, their limited distribution can restrict broader commercial impact in an industry increasingly dominated by streaming and digital consumption.
