Bhopal’s Misrod police has got a big success, the police has caught five accused of stealing goods from mobile towers. Goods worth approximately Rs 50,00,000/- (Fifty lakh rupees) have also been seized from the accused. The accused were committing thefts from mobile towers installed in different cities of the state.
In view of the sensitivity of the incidents of theft of electronic goods installed in mobile towers taking place in Bhopal city and surrounding areas including the state, on the instructions of Police Commissioner Bhopal Shri Harinarayanachari Mishra, a police team was formed, through which, working in different areas, more than half a dozen incidents of theft of mobile towers in the police station area were exposed.
Complainant Premchandra Patel resident – M.N. 58 Katarahills Kasturi, Bhopal lodged a report that he works as a technician in Magnum Company. On 14/06/25, after receiving an alarm signal from the mobile tower near Samardha Marghat, he went to the tower and saw that the electronic machine installed in the tower was not in the cabinet of base bed-5216 tower, which had been stolen by an unknown thief. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police became active.
In view of the increasing incidents of theft of electronic goods from mobile towers, a team was formed under the direction of police officers to search for the unknown accused. During the search, footage from CCTV cameras installed around the theft incident site and on the roads leading to the police station area was seen. Police contacted informers and got information that three persons were planning to sell the goods stolen from the tower. Based on the information, police arrested accused 1. Shailu Tyagi 2. Vineet 3. Ramkumar Sharma on 11/12/25. During interrogation of the accused, they confessed to about one dozen incidents of theft in different cities. Along with this, theft was accepted along with other accomplices 1. Akash Ahirwar and 2. Pradeep Ahirwar. With the help of informer network and technical branch, other accused 1. Akash Ahirwar 2. Pradeep Ahirwar were arrested on 13/12/25 from Surkhi Road Sagar for carrying stolen goods.
Police seized from the accused MG Hector car, Tata Altoz car and four basebands (electronic machines) installed in mobile towers.
And recovered the items used in theft (cutter, pliers, screw driver) whose value is approximately Rs 50,00,000/- (fifty lakh).

Akash Ahirwar, father Shriprakash Ahirwar, age 27 years, resident of Home Guard Kalani Dinara Road, Datia Madhya Pradesh. Is. The police is interrogating all of them.
