GT IPL Auction 2026: With Shubman Gill as captain after Hardik Pandya left, the Gujarat Titans have had a lot of ups and downs in the IPL recently. Things haven’t gone as planned for GT recently, despite the fact that they won the competition in their first appearance during the IPL 2022 season.

Gujarat put up a better show and advanced to the playoffs after placing in the bottom half of the IPL 2024 rankings; however, they were defeated by the Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator. Gill will continue to guide the Titans in the next season as all ten clubs prepare for the IPL 2026 auction. With the majority of players retained prior to the mini-auction, which is set for Tuesday, December 16 in Abu Dhabi, GT has a solid and promising core to depend on.
Titans would bid a meager Rs 12.90 crore in the auction. Notably, there are 77 spots available for the mini auction, and 369 players will be up for grabs. All teams will have a total budget of Rs 237.55 crore to spend, with a maximum squad size of 25.
Even today, it is plausible to foresee the Gujarat Titans’ prospective lineup; nonetheless, their lower middle order is the one position they may improve. They may also be interested in a spin-bowling all-rounder and a few backup seamers, both foreign and Indian.
Remaining GT Purse: Rs 12.9 crore
There are five GT slots left (4 overseas).
