The Punjab Kings have been the most sorted team sitting for the 2026 IPL mini auction. Yet they have been a late bloomer, quickly adding four names to the list. Before the mini auction, Punjab had released only four players from their squad namely Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Hardie, Praveen Dubey, Kuldeep Sen, and Josh Inglis.
In the 2026 IPL Mini Auction, PBKS got the Australian bowler Cooper Connoly and his fellow bowler Ben Dwarshius, as their two high purchases. Apart from that, they got Praveen Dube back in the squad and added Vishal Nishad.
Punjab Kings missed the IPL trophy in a close contest with the Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Led by Shreyas Iyer, Punjab had played their second final of the league and had decided to keep their team intact throughout.

Most importantly, PBKS is notgoing through any big shuffle like most of the teams in 2026. Being the runners-up of the season, they have already experimented with several options, which will give them added leverage.
