Xiaomi:  More Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones and tablets in India are now receiving the latest HyperOS 3 upgrade. Beyond the Xiaomi 17 series, which it introduced earlier this year, Android 16 is available on a larger range of devices.

Along with the main Android upgrade, HyperOS 3 makes its debut with greater organization via widgets, smoother transitions and animations, a number of AI-driven utilities under Xiaomi’s HyperAI name, and a new design (the quick settings tiles seem to have been cleaned up). Along with introducing additional useful capabilities for multitasking, productivity, and intelligent content creation, the release is also a part of Xiaomi’s efforts to standardize software throughout its ecosystem. Find out what the most recent update includes, which devices are receiving it, and how to install Android 10 on your device if you haven’t already.

India’s Rollout of the HyperOS 3 Update
The HyperOS 3 deployment for more devices has begun, according to Sandeep Sarma, Associate Director of Marketing and PR at Xiaomi India. More models will be able to get the upgrade in the next weeks as it rolls out gradually.

The devices listed below are confirmed to get the HyperOS 3 upgrade, which is based on Android 16:

The Xiaomi 14

The Xiaomi Pad 7

The Redmi Note 14 5G

The Redmi 13

Poco F7

The Poco M7 Pro 5G

How to Install and Verify the HyperOS 3 Update
The following procedures may be used by users with qualified devices to manually check for the update:

1. Go to Settings

2. Navigate to My Device

3. Tap the top HyperOS banner.

4. Choose “Check for update.”

5. Select Download and Install if it’s available.

It’s common for the device to restart many times when installing.

HyperOS 3’s New Interface Features
A number of functional and cosmetic enhancements are included in HyperOS 3 with the goal of enhancing daily use.

HyperIsland and Dual-Island Design: Like Apple’s Dynamic Island, HyperIsland adds a pill-shaped notification area at the top of the screen.

Real-time warnings, activity, and charging speed are shown.

Users may switch, extend, and manage programs without ever leaving the current screen thanks to the dual-island architecture.

Customization and Visual Improvements: cinematic lock screens and dynamic backgrounds made from still photos

– New widgets and animations for a more seamless system experience

HyperOS 3’s HyperAI Features
Additionally, the upgrade adds intelligent writing, editing, and audio functions by integrating Xiaomi’s HyperAI technologies.

Important HyperAI features consist of:

– AI writing tools with DeepThink mode and sophisticated screen recognition

The ability to alter the tone or style of emails and texts

Enhancing audio recordings using AI Speed Recognition

Real-time voice file summarization and audio transcription

These technologies are intended to increase productivity while maintaining the accessibility of AI capabilities in commonplace programs.

The Core of Android 16
This time, based on Android 16, the developer has enhanced the system’s privacy protection and efficiency optimization, as well as reliability and a few other changes. Xiaomi’s proprietary layer expands on this foundation by integrating phones and tablets at the ecosystem level.

For Indian owners of Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco, the release of HyperOS 3 is significant. The upgrade to the well-known combat game from Arc Systems Works, which includes a new character Android 16, a redesigned UI, and practical new AI capabilities, is more about utility than gaudy extras. Despite the gradual deployment, you can expect a far more seamless and effective multitasking and content management experience once the update reaches your devices. HyperOS 3 will probably signify a major advancement in Xiaomi’s software veneer as the OS expands into new regions.
