New Delhi: Mumbai Indians had a low-key outing at the auction as they acquired just five players. Among them South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock was the only experienced capped player added by the five-time champions. MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene described signing Quinton de Kock at his base price of Rs 1 crore as a lucky move For us Quinny was a part of MI in most of our franchises and in the past as well. We wanted to make sure we had depth in that crucial spot at the top of the order that gives us flexibility with our playing XI. Were lucky to have him with that experience.
