Wamiqa Gabbi: It seems like a childhood fantasy turning full circle, according to Wamiqa Gabbi, who will next be seen in a movie with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Wamiqa said, “It feels surreal.” “I grew up watching these movies. It is such delight to be a member of that environment today.

Because it evokes the memories of seeing Hindi movies as a child, this linkage for her extends beyond just a banner name.

“I grew up watching Dharma movies, YRF, and anything that Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced. “Those movies influenced my view of movies,” she said.

“It feels strange to be working on a movie with Dharma Productions now,” she said.

“It’s nostalgic, emotional, and honestly, pure joy,” the actress said. Seeing yourself in that environment makes me extremely pleased and enthusiastic. Every time you view one of their films, you get a unique Dharma touch.

Regarding her career, Wamiqa most recently starred in Karan Sharma’s fantasy love comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf. Rajkummar Rao and Seema Pahwa are also featured in the movie.

She will appear with Ayushmaan Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in the much anticipated follow-up “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2”. The project, which is being directed by Mudassar Aziz, will be released in theaters on March 4, 2026, during Holi.

“Bhooth Bangla,” “Kuku Ki Kundali,” “Tiki Taka,” and “Goodachari 2” are also available on Wamiqa.

Priyadarshan is the author of “Bhoot Bangla.” The movie features the well-known triumvirate of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Priyadarshan. Along with others, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar will play important parts in the production.

In partnership with Akshay Kumar’s production company, Cape of Good Films, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms produced the Priyadarshan. Vedant Baali and Faara Sheikh are co-producers of the movie.

Akash A. Kaushik wrote the film’s plot, while Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan wrote the script. Rohan Shankar is the writer of the dialogues.

On April 2, 2026, “Bhooth Bangla” is scheduled to be released in theaters.
