3 medium sized sweet potatoes, 3 to 4 tablespoons desi ghee, half teaspoon green cardamom powder, 1 tablespoon raisins, 15-16 cashews, equal amount of almonds, one teaspoon chopped pistachios. For sweetness, take half a cup of jaggery or a little less as per taste. Dry fruits are also added to sweet potato halwa, due to which the body gets Omega 3, protein and many other nutrients. It has natural sweetness, so you can take jaggery in small quantities.

Know how to make sweet potato pudding

Here you can make sweet potato pudding with the help of this method, which is as follows…

  • First of all, wash the sweet potato thoroughly and then boil it in the cooker for 2 to 3 whistles.
  • The sweet potato has to be boiled so much that it can be easily peeled and mashed. Peel it and mash it in a bowl or grate it.
  • Now chop all the dry fruits and then add one teaspoon of desi ghee in the pan and roast the nuts and dry fruits and take them out in a plate.
  • Melt the remaining ghee in the pan and add mashed sweet potatoes to it and fry while stirring continuously for at least 7 to 8 minutes.
  • While roasting sweet potatoes, keep the flame medium or light. Fry it until its color becomes light golden and aroma starts coming out.
  • Add milk and jaggery to roasted sweet potatoes. After this cook it for some time. It will start getting thick. If ghee is less, a little more can be added.
  • Add nuts and dry fruits to the prepared sweet potato pudding and also add cardamom powder and cook for a minute.
  • In this way, your tasty sweet potato pudding is ready in a short time, which you can serve hot to the guests and everyone at home.
