Pakistani singer and performer Meesha Shafi has revealed her latest musical project, a cross-border collaboration with Indian singer-songwriter Talwiinder. The upcoming track, titled “Sachay Loki,” is scheduled for release this Friday.

Meesha shared the announcement on social media after days of speculation. Posting the song’s cover art, she wrote a short Punjabi caption highlighting unity and creative harmony. The artwork features Meesha and Talwiinder standing back-to-back, set against the dramatic image of a solar eclipse. Meesha appears wearing a shimmering chain-style headpiece, while Talwiinder is seen with his signature face paint and bandana.

The collaboration has already generated excitement among fans on both sides of the border. Talwiinder is no stranger to Pakistani audiences. He previously collaborated with Hasan Raheem on the hit song “Wishes” in 2023, which went on to rank among Pakistan’s most-streamed tracks in 2024 and 2025. He has also worked with emerging artists Afusic and Ali Soomro on a version of “Pal Pal,” which became one of the country’s top-streamed songs on Spotify this year.

Meesha Shafi has had a strong year musically. She released her debut album “Khilnay Ko” in May, which received widespread appreciation. Following its success, the album was submitted for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards in multiple categories.
