Delhi Government Scheme For Workers: The pollution level in Delhi has once again reached a very dangerous level. The Air Quality Index remains at record levels, and the situation is such that it has become difficult to breathe in the open air. Considering this serious situation, the Delhi government has implemented GRAP-4 stage.

Under this, all construction and demolition work has been stopped. However, this decision has directly affected the livelihood of thousands of daily wage laborers. To mitigate this problem, the Delhi government has decided to provide financial assistance. Under this scheme, eligible workers will be given 10,000 rupees. Find out which workers will receive this money and what the registration process will be.

Which workers will receive 10,000 rupees?

Amidst the air pollution in Delhi, the Delhi government has now implemented GRAP-4. The closure of construction work due to GRAP-4 has had the biggest impact on construction workers. The government has clarified that this financial assistance will not be given to everyone, but only to verified workers. That is, only those workers whose records are already with the government and whose verification has been completed will be able to avail of this scheme.

According to Minister Kapil Mishra, currently there are about 10,000 such workers in Delhi who fall under the verified category. 10,000 rupees will be transferred to the bank accounts of these workers. This amount has been fixed as compensation for 16 days, as construction work has been stopped for this period under GRAP. Unverified workers will be excluded from this assistance for now.

How to register online?

The Delhi government has started the online registration process for this assistance amount. Construction workers in Delhi can register on the government portal https://dbocwwb.delhi.gov.in/. During registration, they will need to provide identity documents, work-related information, and bank account details.

After registration, the workers will be verified. Those who pass the verification process will receive Rs. 10,000 directly in their bank accounts. The government states that this process is entirely digital to ensure that assistance reaches those in need quickly. Workers are advised to register promptly to avoid any delays and receive financial relief during this difficult time.
