Princess Beatrice is gearing up for Christmas as she was spotted at a bash in a west London restaurant enjoying a solo night out. Her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi continued his work trip to Los Angeles and is currently not in the country.
Dressing up for the evening, Beatrice wore a plain black belted coat over a simple red pleated dress and accessorised with a pair of black knee-high suede boots and a Gucci chain bag. The gathering Beatrice attended also included celebrity guests such as the former Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan.
Property developer Edoardo, 42, however, missed the party as he continued working in Los Angeles. He continued to post Instagram stories of beautiful beaches and palm trees on his personal page, after a hard day's work.
This week, Beatrice also attended her uncle's pre Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. One notable absentee at the party, was Beatrice's father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles in October due to his connections to late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
The King, 77, has maintained this pre-Christmas tradition that was established by his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who enjoyed gathering her wider family before departing for her official Christmas break in Norfolk.
Among those attending the lunch were The Wales family, along with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their daughter Lady Louise Windsor.
The royal's latest outing comes after she and Edoardo celebrated their daughter Athena's christening at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace in London. Guests at the Christening also included the 'You're beautiful' singer, James Blunt.
A source told Hello! Magazine at the time: "It's a really lovely pub with a very chilled atmosphere, and everyone was very discreet - you would never have known there was royalty in the building."
For Edoardo, his absence from the Christmas bash marked an unusual departure from recent years, as the property developer typically accompanies Beatrice to engagements.
However, his site visit in LA could be a scheduling conflict between his professional commitments and Christmas events.
