The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) accepted applications for Home Guard recruitment from November 18 to December 17, 2025.  Candidates who applied for this recruitment and made any mistakes while filling out the form have been allowed to correct them by the UPPBPB.
The board has opened a correction window for making changes to the form from December 18, which will remain open until the stipulated deadline of December 21, 2025, at 6:00 AM. Candidates can make corrections online within the specified dates.

How to modify the application form:
The police board has issued a notification providing steps for correcting the form. According to the notification, "Candidates can log in to their account on the board's website uppbpb.gov.in using the link apply.upprpb.in with their registered account credentials, Aadhaar ID, or DigiLocker.  They can then modify their details by going to the 'Modify Details' tab/section in the 'Application History'. Please note that candidates will not be able to modify the details fetched from OTR (One Time Registration) and the uploaded photo in the application form."

Important information for candidates who applied before December 1st:
Candidates who applied online for this recruitment before December 1, 2025, can select the 'Yes' and 'No' options in sub-points 2 and 5 of point 15 - "Declaration" under "Additional Details" in the online application form.
