T20 World Cup Squad For India: Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar will meet with the Senior Selection Committee on Saturday at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai to discuss the team, with less than two months till the highly anticipated T20 World Cup. Notably, the team for the home series against New Zealand will also be selected; this team is anticipated to be exactly the same as the T20 World Cup team.

The 15-member provisional team will be presented to the International Cricket Council (ICC) first, as is customary. Teams may alter their rosters as the competition draws nearer in the event of injuries or fitness issues.

The ICC Technical Committee must provide its consent before any roster changes may be made, even in the midst of the competition.

Suryakumar is presently heading Team India in a five-match Twenty20 International series at home against South Africa. The fifth and final Twenty20 International is set for this Friday in Ahmedabad.

“To choose India’s team for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and the T20I series against New Zealand, the Senior Men’s Selection Committee will convene on Saturday at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai. India will host New Zealand for a white-ball series consisting of three ODIs and five T20Is from January 11 to January 31 before to the T20 World Cup, which begins in February.

Starting on February 7, 20 teams will compete in the 10th edition of the worldwide competition, which will consist of 29 days of intense cricket played at eight locations in India and Sri Lanka.
